Your eBay margin isn't the sale price minus the Amazon price. Several fees sit in between, and each one is small enough to ignore, until you add them up.
Because the final value fee applies to the whole transaction, the fee on a $30 sale is a larger dollar amount than most people mentally subtract. Always calculate net profit after the fee, not the gross gap. A worked example is in Lesson 4.
Fee rates and categories change. Check eBay's fee page at least quarterly and update your pricing assumptions, or let software that reads actual fees do it for you.
