A buyer buys 3 of your listings in one transaction. Now what? You need to place 3 Amazon orders, track 3 shipments, but eBay sees one order. Most dropshippers get this wrong and create a cascade of cancellations and late shipments.
Your automation probably assumes: one eBay order = one line item = one Amazon order. But eBay lets buyers buy multiple listings in one checkout. Now you have one order ID but multiple line items (sometimes from different eBay accounts if it's a multi-seller cart), and if you try to place one Amazon order for all of it, you're placing an order for a product the buyer didn't buy (quantity: 3 of item A, but eBay ordered 2x A + 1x B).
The complexity is why many dropshippers avoid multi-item sales by pricing higher, discounting less, or listing in ways that don't show up together in search — it's actually worth the operational simplicity cost.
